We have four youth fields with the following specifications:

• Variable base path distances of 50 and 60 feet

• Full outfield fences

• Foul pole distance 200 feet

• Grass infields

• Movable pitching mounds with markers for 45', 50' & 54'

• Enclosed and covered dugouts

• Bullpens

• 4 batting cages

We also have one High School sized field with the following specifications:

• 90 foot base paths

• Full outfield fences

• Foul pole distance 280 feet

• Grass infields

Ames Youth Baseball

Ames Youth Baseball serves 400 youth in the Ames community with ages ranging from 3 years old up to 8th grade.

Recreational Options

• Blastball (3 - 4 year olds)

• TeeBall (Kindergarten)

• Rookies (1st - 2nd grades)

• Minors (3rd - 4th grades)

• Majors (5th - 6th grades)
